Most pear solitaires sit inside a closed, even band. Here the two arms slip past each other, one sweeping up beside the stone and the other curving underneath, which gives this Yellow Pear Bypass Solitaire Accent Ring a sense of movement a standard shank never gets. The yellow gemstone is a pear shape measuring 7 x 5 mm, held at a slant in slim prongs. Along the arms run 23 round diamonds graded E_F color and VVS to VS clarity, so the shine reads clean and bright against the warm center.

Those accents are lab grown diamonds, which means a ring with this much shine along both arms costs well below a mined version of the same look. The diamonds sit close together in a fine pave line and the gap between the arms lets light pass straight through from the side. Choose 10K, 14K or 18K solid gold in yellow, white or rose with a hallmark stamp on each. It's IGI certified jewelry, and the certificate is free on request. An engagement, an anniversary or a gift to yourself all suit the open, curving shape.
